The basic idea of setting up a real estate company in 1978 was offering an exclusive group of customers - primarily the Bank's customers to begin with - selected real estate investments for asset planning.

Since 1996, when the Trinkaus Europe Real Estate Fund series was started, we have focused and workes with the structure of closed-end real estate funds.

Real estate never claims to be the focus of an investment strategy here, but is understood in principle as part of an overall concept which contributes to diversification and risk-spreading.

The integration into the network of HSBC Holding plc., one of the world's largest and most successful banking groups and majority shareholder of HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt AG with a stake of 78,6%, ensures that the company is represented in almost all parts of the world.
